Rose Colored Glasses International Inc.

I knew it wouldn't be easy and would take time but it was harder and took more time than I thought.
As often happens when incorporating, the name used when starting out had to be changed as it is either taken already or too closely resembles an already taken name so I had to change from Palawan Project to something new. But...what?? I thought of many that just didn't reflect my views until I dug deep and thought of something that did reflect my passion and I must honestly say that it came from my mother, something she used to tell me when I was growing up.
She told me that I had somewhat of a different view of the world than most and that I tended to look at life through "rose colored glasses" focusing on the positive rather than the negative view of life. Then many years later I was studying Aikido on the Philippine island of Cebu when my instructor also said that my outlook on life was rather "rose colored " again noting my focusing on the positive.

That being the story, our official new name is now "Rose Colored Glasses International Inc.".
It is my hope that we can instill in some of the children who we are fortunate in assisting some of the same outlook toward life that I had growing up in the very cold "true north" of Canada. Our goal will be that they will always remember where they came from but help them focus on where they are going in the future with a positive view that they can become anything they set their minds to.
Our reward will be to see them progress along their path.
